On November 19, we hosted a successful event in collaboration with Anticolonialism UDEM, bringing together passionate individuals to discuss and advocate for Uyghur rights. The atmosphere was filled with engaging discussions, heartfelt testimonies, and a strong sense of community.

On November 12, the International Support for Uyghurs (ISU), in collaboration with USMS, hosted an impactful event at McGill University titled "Breaking the Silence: Uyghur Genocide on Display.

Join us for Breaking the Silence: Uyghur Genocide on Display, a powerful photo exhibition and conference shedding light on the ongoing genocide against Uyghurs. This event will feature panel discussions, film screenings, and visual documentation to raise awareness and encourage action.

We stood united today in front of the Chinese consulate in Montreal, raising our voices against the ongoing genocide of Uyghurs. Our protest aimed to bring attention to the atrocities faced by our community and honor those who have suffered.

Join us for a protest march to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Urumchi Massacre on Saturday, July 6th, 2024, from 4 pm to 6 pm. The protest will start at Dorchester Square and end at Place des Arts.

The International Support for Uyghurs, in collaboration with the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), organized an awareness event titled "Which Freedom for the Uyghur People? Religion, Control, and Activism in the Diaspora.

Join us for an evening of awareness and solidarity with the Uyghur community at the ISU conference, "Which Freedom for the Uyghur People? Religion, Control, and Activism in the Diaspora." Starting at 6:30 PM, we will begin with an introduction to the ISU followed by a screening of videos exposing the Chinese Communist Party's oppression of Uyghur religious freedom.

The International Support for Uyghurs (ISU) will be delivering a presentation addressing the genocide in East Turkistan and facilitating a detailed discussion on the unique challenges confronting the Uighur people in their pursuit of justice.

On a pivotal day, the International Support for Uyghurs (ISU) staged a demonstration in front of the Chinese consulate in Montreal to honor the memory of the Ghulja Massacre and protest against the continuing genocide of the Uyghur people.

While global attention remains fixated on the Israel-Gaza conflict and many other major events, the ongoing Uyghur genocide, which has been unfolding since 2016, is largely overshadowed. Shockingly, up to 3 million Uyghurs and other Turkic Muslims still find themselves confined in China's concentration camps and prisons, reminiscent of Nazi-style oppression.
